Development Technology and Ideas (DTI) was born out of a profound vision to revitalize and modernize Old Dhaka, a historic area brimming with cultural heritage and architectural beauty. The company’s journey began when Mr. Saidur Rahman, the only son of Haji Mohammad Sala Uddin, inherited not just a business but also a legacy of dedication to Dhaka’s development. Haji Sharifuddin, a pioneering businessman in the construction sector since the 1960s, had laid a solid foundation for the future with his relentless work ethic and contributions to the construction industry. Watching his father transform raw landscapes into thriving neighborhoods, Mr. Rahman grew up with a deep appreciation for the value of preservation and progress. In the early 2000s, Mr. Rahman founded Development Technology and Ideas Limited with a singular mission: to reimagine Old Dhaka.
